We have a strong affinity and commitment to all Australians, regardless of heritage, traditions or culture.

We work across industry and corporate Australia with the flow-on effect of positively influencing the lives of families and communities. We do this through partnerships with major Australian and international companies and organisations by facilitating and empowering their social procurement and social impact policy and practice and by guiding the development of best practice Aboriginal engagement activities and programs.

A percentage of our revenue is directed to our Social Impact Fund to support health, education and employment initiatives in Aboriginal communities. Focusing on program design, tender writing, technical skilling, personal development, and professional coaching, we are relentless in our pursuit of excellence through the development of shared and enabling journeys for all our stakeholders and clients.

our founder

Indigenous Workforce Consulting was founded by Brendan Littlechild in 2017.

Brendan was born in Wynyard on the North-West Coast of Tasmania. A proud member and descendent of the Narrunga people from the Yorke Peninsula of South Australia, his mother was born and raised in the Aboriginal community of Point Pearce in South Australia.

Brendan’s formative years were spent growing up in Papua New Guinea (PNG) where the Melanesian culture influenced and shaped his values and attitudes and became an intrinsic part of his DNA. Having completed his schooling in PNG and returning to Australia, he found the people, culture and experience profoundly impacted him and cultivated a desire to help others – including Aboriginal families and communities.
